Join us as we welcome Dr. Melissa Johnson for a presentation on how we can use our organization to build self esteem and self assurance in our girls, tomorrow’s leaders! 

Dr. Melissa Johnson is an expert on child and teen development and an engaging, sought-after speaker, Dr. Johnson has worked with youth for more than 35 years. She is passionate about providing empowerment opportunities for individuals, groups, and communities.
Dr. Johnson and her clinical team deliver strength-based therapy, inspiring educational programs, and consultations and trainings for schools and youth programs to help create positive peer climates.
Dr. Johnson’s approach to raising and mentoring girls draws together contemporary research in neuroscience, mind/body health, and evidence-based interventions in mindfulness and social and emotional intelligence.
Her book Stand Up! Speak Out! ™ Empowering Skills for Girls’ Friendships: The Essential Guide for Educators and Others Who Work with Girls is now available to provide practical tools for those who mentor girls.
