The GFS Mission
The mission of GFS is to provide girls with a place to make friends, develop relationships and support each other. Throughout the past 150 years, GFS has provided programs which empower girls to thrive in their environment. The GFS motto is “Bear Ye One Another’s Burdens and So Fulfill the Law of Christ”. Galatians 6:2
The GFS promise encourages girls to share God’s love for all people, worship and serve faithfully, to make one’s words true and actions right, to grow strong in mind, body and spirit, and to make the world a better place to live. This promise embodies all that is important about GFS activities.
